Final Report on the draft implementing technical standards on the extension of the use of the alleviated format of insider lists
The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) issued this final report to propose extending the alleviated format for insider lists, currently available to SME Growth Market issuers, to all issuers under the Market Abuse Regulation. The draft implementing technical standards streamline reporting requirements by reducing personal data fields and establishing three specific templates for event-based, permanent, and regular insider lists. ESMA maintains the mandate to require National Identification Numbers where applicable and clarifies that issuers should list only one contact person per external service provider to balance administrative burden reduction with regulatory traceability.
