The theme is "Harnessing the Potentials of Gum Arabic for Economic Development in Nigeria." His Excellency, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, Governor of Borno State, will serve as the Special Guest of Honor. The seminar aims to educate the public and farmers about the potential wealth-creation opportunities from Gum Arabic production and highlight best practices in the industry's value chain. Participation is free.

The Development Finance Department on behalf of the Central Bank of Nigeria is organizing a seminar with the theme: "Harnessing the Potentials of Gum Arabic for Economic Development in Nigeria". His Excellency, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, Executive Governor of Borno State would be the Special Guest of Honour The broad objectives of the seminar are to sensitize the general public and farmers on the possibilities of creating wealth from Gum Arabic production; and creating awareness on the best practices in the Gum Arabic value chain.
