Calendar for Submission of Prudential Returns 2002
The Bank of Zambia has established the mandatory monthly submission schedule for prudential returns from all commercial banks and financial institutions for the 2002 calendar year. Each return is due approximately one month after the reporting period, with specific deadlines ranging from February 14, 2002, to January 15, 2003. The circular enforces a strict penalty of K100,000 per return per day for late or inaccurate filings, as well as for any submissions not provided on diskettes.

## CALENDAR FOR SUBMISSION OF PRUDENTIAL RETURNS
Further to our circular No 1/98 dated 21 January 1998, please be informed that the due dates for submission of Prudential Returns for year 2002 are as follows:

| December | 15 January 2003 |
Please note that a penalty of K100,000 per Return per day will be incurred for any delayed submissions or incorrect Returns. The penalty will also apply to non-submission of all Prudential Returns on diskettes.
