ANNOUNCEMENT on the issuance of additional 50 KM Convertible Mark banknotes printed in 2009

Pursuant to Decision UV No. 344/08 dated October 30, 2008, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina has printed additional quantities of Convertible Mark banknotes (hereinafter: KM) in the denomination of 50 KM.

These banknotes have the basic features and technical characteristics established in all respects by the Decision on the issuance and circulation of Convertible Mark banknotes ("Official Gazette of BiH", No. 10/98) and the Decision on the issuance, basic features, and circulation of additional quantities of Convertible Mark banknotes in denominations of 50 KM and 100 KM ("Official Gazette of BiH", Nos. 11/02, 40/07, and 15/08), with the exception that the printing year "2009" appears on the face of the banknotes, printed below the signature and the word "Governor".

Starting from December 14, 2009, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina will place the aforementioned banknotes into circulation as legal tender in Bosnia and Herzegovina through its headquarters, main units, and branches.

The announcement on the issuance of additional 50 KM banknotes printed in 2009 will be available on the website of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This announcement will be published in the "Official Gazette of BiH", "Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH", "Official Gazette of the Republika Srpska", and "Official Gazette of the Brčko District of BiH".
