Cayman Islands Monetary Authority Cancels Global Securities Capital Fund Registration
The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority cancelled the mutual fund registration of Global Securities Capital Fund effective 12 June 2018. This decision addresses the fund's failure to submit audited accounts for 2011 through 2016 and its non-payment of annual registration fees and penalties from 2016 to 2018. Consequently, the Authority determined that the fund is unable to meet its financial obligations and has not been managed in a fit and proper manner.
