Banknotes Imagery Advisory Group Minutes – August 2025
The Bank of England’s Banknotes Imagery Advisory Group approved draft Terms of Reference clarifying that virtual attendees count toward quorum and reviewed public consultation results indicating strong support for nature and architecture themes. The Group mandated targeted focus groups to assess public sentiment, diversity representation, and design flexibility for the leading themes ahead of a final recommendation to the Governor.
