Directive No. 05/2025, of May 22

The National Bank of Angola’s Banking Supervision and Financial System Regulation Departments have issued Directive No. 05/2025 to align reporting deadlines for Banking Financial Institutions submitting credit data on related parties and key management personnel. The directive mandates quarterly submissions via the Suptech Portal, or by Excel email to dsb@bna.ao until portal integration is complete, requiring definitive data and establishing clear error notification procedures without waiving statutory deadlines. It further prescribes a standardized reporting format covering credit operations, impairment stages, restructuring counts, guarantees, and economic sectors, with all interpretive ambiguities resolved by the central bank.
