Financial Transactions Reporting Amendment Regulations 2018

The Bahamas Minister of Finance enacted the Financial Transactions Reporting Amendment Regulations 2018 to update statutory terminology under the Financial Transactions Reporting Act, 2018. These regulations amend the Schedule to S.I. 35 of 2018 by replacing “antes Stock Exchange” with “Nantes Stock Exchange”. The amendment ensures accurate regulatory references and takes effect upon publication in the Official Gazette.

Signed KEVIN PETER TURNQUEST Minister of Finance The Minister, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 59 of the Financial Transactions Reporting Act, 2018, make the following Regulations FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS REPORTING ACT (NO. 5 OF 2018) FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS REPORTING (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2018

  1. Citation. These Regulations, which amend the Financial Transactions Reporting Regulations, 2018 (S.I. 35 of 2018) may be cited as the Financial Transactions Reporting (Amendment) Regulations, 2018.
  2. Amendment of Schedule to S.I. 35 of 2018. The Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by the deletion of the words “antes Stock Exchange” and the substitution thereof the words “Nantes Stock Exchange”.
