Regulation on the Activity of Non-Bank Payment Service Providers
The National Bank of Moldova (NBM) issued this regulation to formally govern the licensing, operational standards, and supervisory oversight of non-bank payment service providers. The framework establishes mandatory compliance requirements, capital thresholds, and reporting obligations to ensure the integrity and stability of the national payment infrastructure. It further empowers the NBM to conduct regular audits, enforce corrective measures, and impose penalties for violations to safeguard market participants and consumers.
