The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular 99/2018 requiring all specialized lending institutions operating in Palestine to complete and submit an updated quarterly database file on a quarterly basis, synchronized with their regular quarterly reports (the Unified Report and Provision Schedule). This mandate aims to strengthen sector safety and enhance transparency and disclosure standards across the specialized lending market. Institutions must also ensure their technological environments and automated systems remain fully aligned with the data requirements specified in the circular.

With reference to the above subject, and in the context of the Authority's efforts to maintain the safety of the specialized lending sector in Palestine and enhance transparency and disclosure principles through the establishment of an updated database for specialized lending institutions, and based on the requirements of Circular No. (136/2015) regarding the establishment of the quarterly database file, all specialized lending institutions are required to complete the updated database file attached herewith and submit it to the Authority on a quarterly basis, simultaneously with the regular quarterly reports (the Unified Report and the Provision Schedule). The Authority also expects the continued alignment of the institution's technological environment and automated systems with the requirements of the aforementioned file.
