Subject: Extension of validity of boards of directors of charitable associations and civil bodies in the southern governorates

Attached is a copy of the letter from His Excellency the Minister of Interior regarding the extension of the validity of the approval of boards of directors of charitable associations and civil bodies operating in the Gaza Strip, as specified in the aforementioned letter, in order to facilitate the continuity of work of these associations and bodies under the current circumstances.

Accordingly, the necessary legal measures are requested to be taken regarding this matter.

Subject: Extension of validity of boards of directors of associations operating in Gaza for six months instead of three months

The Ministry of Interior sends you its best greetings. With reference to the above subject, and given the difficult and harsh conditions experienced by our people in the southern governorates due to the continuation of the brutal Israeli war; we inform you that a decision has been taken to extend the validity of the approval of the board of directors of charitable associations and civil bodies operating in Gaza, and associations whose board is divided between the West Bank and Gaza, for six months instead of three months. This is aimed at facilitating their work and supporting their continuity in providing services to our people under the ongoing Israeli aggression, until the war and aggression against our people end.

Accordingly, your instructions are requested to the relevant parties on your side to facilitate banking transactions for charitable associations and civil bodies to which the extension validity applies, and to direct these associations and bodies to the General Administration of Non-Governmental Organizations and Public Affairs in the Ministry of Interior to obtain the necessary approvals.
