C7/2015: Proposed Amended Regulations Relating to Banks
The South African Reserve Bank has issued Draft 2 of proposed amendments to the banking regulations under the Banks Act 94 of 1990, incorporating feedback from initial public consultations. The circular invites stakeholders to submit final comments on the revised regulatory framework by 17 November 2015 via email to the Registrar of Banks. Recipients must also return a signed acknowledgement of receipt from both their chief executive officer and independent auditors to confirm institutional awareness of the proposed changes.
