The Bank of Zambia issued Circular 04/2009 to formally notify all commercial banks and bureaux de change that the Bank of Botswana has introduced a new family of Pula banknotes. The new currency series includes denominations of 10, 20, 50, 100, and 200 Pulas. Recipients are advised to monitor the Bank of Botswana's website for further updates regarding these changes.

## NEW FAMILY OF BOTSWANA PULA BANKNOTES
Reference is made to the above subject.
This is to formally inform you that the Bank of Botswana recently issued into circulation a new family of Pula banknotes. The new family of banknotes introduced are in the following denominations: 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 Pulas.
We will inform you and provide additional information as we receive it from the Bank of Botswana. You may also wish to visit the Bank of Botswana’s website on www.bankofbotswana.bw.
