Implementation of EBA Guidelines on information requirements for fund transfers and certain crypto-asset transfers under Regulation (EU) 2023/1113 (EBA/GL/2024/11)

The Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR) has declared conformity with the European Banking Authority's guidelines on information requirements for fund transfers and certain crypto-asset transfers under Regulation (EU) 2023/1113. These guidelines become applicable to credit institutions, financial establishments, and crypto-asset service providers as of December 30, 2024. They also apply to digital asset service providers benefiting from the transitional period under the MiCA Regulation, which ends on July 1, 2026.

NOTICE Implementation of the European Banking Authority (EBA) Guidelines on information requirements concerning fund transfers and certain crypto-asset transfers under Regulation (EU) 2023/1113 ("Travel Rule Guidelines") (EBA/GL/2024/11)

The Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR) has declared conformity with the European Banking Authority (EBA) Guidelines on information requirements concerning fund transfers and certain crypto-asset transfers under Regulation (EU) 2023/1113 ("Travel Rule Guidelines") (EBA/GL/2024/11).

These Guidelines are applicable as of 30 December 2024 by all credit institutions and financial establishments defined in paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 3 of Directive (EU) 2015/849 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 May 2015, as well as by crypto-asset service providers (CASPs) pursuant to Ordinance No. 2024-397 of 15 October 2024.

They are also applicable to digital asset service providers (DASPs) benefiting from the transitional period provided for by the MiCA Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 31 May 2023 on markets in crypto-assets), which will end on 1 July 2026.
