The Central Bank of Tunisia issued Circular No. 2025-04 on February 3, 2025, to officially publish and update the list of financial institutions participating in the Single Electronic Cheque Platform. Mandated by Article 410-ter of the Commercial Code, this list must be reviewed and refreshed as needed, with a mandatory update occurring at least once every six months. The circular takes immediate effect upon issuance and makes the current adherent list publicly accessible via the Central Bank’s official website.

The Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia, Having regard to the Commercial Code as amended and supplemented by subsequent texts, especially Article 410-ter thereof, Having regard to Law No. 2016-35 of April 25, 2016 establishing the status of the Central Bank of Tunisia, Having regard to Law No. 2016-48 of July 11, 2016 on banks and financial institutions, Having regard to Circular of the Central Bank of Tunisia No. 2024-14 of November 21, 2024 on the obligations of banks regarding cheque transactions, Having regard to Circular of the Central Bank of Tunisia No. 2025-03 of January 31, 2025 on the operating conditions of the Single Electronic Cheque Platform, Having regard to the opinion of the compliance control committee No. 2025-04 dated February 3, 2025 as provided for in Article 42 of Law No. 2016-35 of April 25, 2016 establishing the status of the Central Bank of Tunisia. Decides: Article 1: This circular sets out, in the annex, the list of institutions adhering to the Single Electronic Cheque Platform. This list is available on the website of the Central Bank of Tunisia.
2 In application of the provisions of Article 410-ter of the Commercial Code, the list of institutions adhering to the Single Electronic Cheque Platform is updated as necessary and, in any case, at least once every six months.
