Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas clarifies that Unit Investment Trust Funds (UITFs) structured as feeder funds or fund-of-funds with foreign investments may qualify as accredited Personal Equity and Retirement Account (PERA) investment products. This recognition allows PERA contributors to diversify their portfolios through additional investment instruments, supporting the capital market development objectives of the PERA law.
