Operational and Services External Circular DEP-478, Subject 06: 100,000 Peso Banknotes
The Bank of the Republic issued Operational and Services External Circular DEP-478 to update the circulation status of 100,000 peso banknotes. The document announces that Series BC notes were introduced on December 15, 2025, and Series BD notes will enter circulation on June 22, 2026. Both editions retain the same design, general characteristics, and security features as the previous version.

This Circular replaces page 6–8 of Operational and Services External Circular DEP-478 dated December 11, 2025, corresponding to Subject 06 titled “100,000 PESO BANKNOTES” from the corporate manual of the Issuance and Programming Department.
Through this update:
- Paragraph 14 is added to inform that, starting June 22, 2026, the Bank of the Republic will put into circulation 100,000 peso banknotes, with an edition date of February 25, 2025 – series BD.

FEBRUARY 25, 2025 EDITION – SERIES BC Starting December 15, 2025, the Bank of the Republic put into circulation 100,000 peso banknotes, with an edition date of February 25, 2025 – series BC, which have the same design and identical general characteristics and security devices as the previous edition.
