CB Circular No. 18 of 2022 Calendar for Submission of Payment Systems Returns for the Year 2023
The Bank of Zambia issues a 2023 submission calendar specifying monthly due dates for prudential returns, credit market monitoring program reports, quarterly financial statements, and bank charges. Financial institutions must electronically submit monthly prudential and CMMP returns through the Bank Supervision Application System while providing soft copies of bank charges returns to designated email addresses. The circular enforces daily penalties of K500 for delayed or incorrect prudential, CMMP, and bank charges returns, alongside a K1,500 daily penalty for quarterly financial statements that are late, improperly formatted, or published without prior regulatory approval.
