Lifting of the Moratorium on Increase of Fee for InstaPay and PESONet Transactions
Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas issued Memorandum No. M-2026-025 to lift the moratorium on increasing fees for InstaPay and PESONet transactions. This regulatory change takes effect concurrently with BSP Circular No. 1238 on June 17, 2026, which introduces zero fees for small merchant payments and establishes a pricing structure for person-to-person transfers.
