Announcement on the Issuance of Additional 5 Convertible Marks Coins Minted in 2009

The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina issues additional 5 Convertible Marks coins minted in 2009 pursuant to Decision No. 343/08. These coins, featuring the year 2009 on their reverse, are introduced as legal tender starting April 13, 2009, through the Bank's central office, main units, and branches. The announcement is published in official gazettes and on the Central Bank's website to inform the public of this monetary issuance.

ANNOUNCEMENT on the issuance of additional 5 Convertible Marks coins minted in 2009

In accordance with Decision No. 343/08 dated October 30, 2008, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina has minted additional quantities of 5 Convertible Marks coins (hereinafter: KM).

This coin possesses all basic features and technical characteristics established by the Decision on the issuance, basic features, and introduction into circulation of coins in denominations of 5 Convertible Marks and 5 Fening (Official Gazette of BiH, No. 92/05) and Decision No. 343/08 dated October 30, 2008, with the exception that the numerical designation on the reverse side of the coin, indicating the year of minting, is "2009".

Starting from April 13, 2009, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina will introduce the aforementioned coins into circulation as legal tender in Bosnia and Herzegovina through its central office, main units, and branches.

Notice regarding the issuance of the additional 5 KM coins minted in 2009 will be available on the website of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This announcement will be published in the "Official Gazette of BiH", "Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH", "Official Gazette of the Republic of Srpska", and "Official Gazette of the Brčko District of BiH".
