Circular No. 2025/3: Operating Hours for Specialized Lending Institutions During Ramadan
The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 2025/3 to mandate reduced official working hours for specialized lending institutions during the month of Ramadan. The directive requires these institutions to operate from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM on all working days, with optional Saturday hours for branches maintaining the same schedule. Normal operating hours will resume immediately after the conclusion of the holy month.

Subject: Operating Hours of Specialized Lending Institutions During the Month of Ramadan
We congratulate you on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, praying to Allah, the Almighty, that He may grant it to you always in good health and well-being, and that He may return it to our people having realized their hopes for the establishment of their independent state with Jerusalem as its holy capital.
Based on the provisions of Article No. (22) of Decision No. (132) of 2011 concerning the licensing and supervision system for specialized lending institutions and its amendments, it has been decided to determine the official working hours for lending institutions dealing with the public during the holy month from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM for all working days. Branches of lending institutions wishing to operate on Saturdays may do so during the same hours. Working hours will return to their previous state after the end of the holy month.
