Decision No. (183) of 2022 dated 14/12/2022 by the Board of Directors of the Financial Regulatory Authority on appointing an interim board of directors for the Special Insurance Fund for Employees of Judicial Bodies and their Auxiliary Agencies under the Ministry of Justice

Having reviewed: Law No. 54 of 1975 issuing the Special Insurance Funds Law and its executive regulations, and amendments; Law No. 10 of 1981 issuing the Supervision and Control of Insurance in Egypt Law and its executive regulations, and amendments; Law No. 10 of 2009 regulating supervision over non-Egyptian financial markets and instruments; Decision of the President of the Republic No. (192) of 2009 issuing the Basic System of the Financial Regulatory Authority; Authority Decision No. (144) of 1991 regarding the registration of the Special Insurance Fund for Employees of Judicial Bodies and their Auxiliary Agencies under the Ministry of Justice under No. (371); Authority Board Decision No. (173) of 2021 regarding the appointment of an interim board for the Special Insurance Fund for Employees of Judicial Bodies and their Auxiliary Agencies under the Ministry of Justice for one year starting from 17/11/2021; Letter No. (381) dated 30/10/2022 from the Office of the Assistant Minister of Justice for General Affairs stating lack of jurisdiction to nominate board members for the Fund; Incoming letter to the Authority dated 1/12/2022 from the President of the General Union of Employees in Prosecutions and Courts nominating members for the interim board; Memorandum of the Central Administration for Supervision and Control of Special Insurance Funds dated 5/12/2022; Approval of the Authority's Board in its meeting held on 14/12/2022.

Decision

(Article One)

Appointment of an interim board of directors for the Special Insurance Fund for Employees of Judicial Bodies and their Auxiliary Agencies under the Ministry of Justice, for a period of three months from the date of issuance of this decision to facilitate the Fund's operations or until the election of a permanent board

The Fund may convene its General Assembly at the earliest, with a call for a General Assembly meeting to elect a permanent board within two weeks from the date of issuance of this decision, comprising the following members:
