BVI Business Companies (Amendment of Schedule 1) Order, 2021
The Acting Minister of Finance of the British Virgin Islands issued this notice to appoint the effective date for the BVI Business Companies (Amendment of Schedule 1) Order, 2021. Exercising powers under section 1(2) of the Order, the Minister declared that the legislation shall come into force on July 1, 2021. This appointment was formally made and gazetted on May 31, 2021.
VIRGIN ISLANDS STATUTORY INSTRUMENT 2021 NO. 50 BVI BUSINESS COMPANIES (AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULE 1) ORDER, 2021 (S.I. No. 29 of 2021) A NOTICE BY THE MINISTER OF FINANCE UNDER SECTION 1(2) OF THE BVI BUSINESS COMPANIES (AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULE 1) ORDER, 2021 DECLARING THE DATE ON WHICH THE SAID ORDER SHALL COME INTO FORCE [Gazetted 31st May, 2021] WHEREAS it is provided by section 1(2) of the BVI Business Companies (Amendment of Schedule 1) Order, 2021 (S.I. No. 29 of 2021) that the said Order shall come into force on such date as the Minister may, by Notice published in the Gazette, appoint; NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers vested in me, I hereby appoint the 1st day of July, 2021 to be the date on which the BVI Business Companies (Amendment of Schedule 1) Order, 2021 shall come into force.
