The Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier issued Regulation No 18-03 to implement specific discretions under Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 and ECB Guideline 2017/697 regarding less significant institutions. This regulation formally repeals the previous CSSF Regulation No 14-01 to consolidate the national transposition of European banking rules. It establishes the legal framework for national competent authorities to exercise options and discretions available in Union law within Luxembourg.
