This document provides an update on authorized inspection agents responsible for monitoring security at various oil and gas terminals in Nigeria. It also highlights the 0.2% NESS fee payable on all Oil and Gas exports, with effect from a certain date. The author reminds Authorized Dealers to submit NXP forms registered for these types of exports to the appropriate inspection agents assigned responsibility for the respective terminal and informs them that this information has previously been communicated in circulars dated November 11, 2008, and October 1, 2004. The Director of Trade & Exchange Department signs off on the document.

** Note that the appointment of the company as a Pre-shipment Inspection agent for oil exports had been communicated in our circular Ref: TED/FEM/FPC/GEN/01/121of November 11, 2008. Also, the other Offices of Messrs Cobalt International Services Ltd are stated in our circular Ref: TED/AD/117/204 dated 1 1th October, 2004.
2.0 Authorised Dealers are reminded to ensure that NXP forms registered for export of Oil and Gas through the terminals mentioned above are submitted to the appropriate inspection agent assigned responsibility for the terminal.
3.0 Furthermore, Authorised Dealers should note that the NESS fee payable on all Oil and Gas exports has been reviewed to 0.2% of FOB value of the export, with effect from the date of this circular.
4.0 All Authorised Dealers are to take note of the provisions of this circular and bring these to the attention of their customers for guidance and compliance, please.
