FMA Deadline Extensions Regulation 2020
The Austrian Financial Market Authority issued this regulation to extend statutory reporting and submission deadlines for banks, insurance undertakings, and pension funds in response to the COVID-19 crisis. The measure grants extensions ranging from one week to four months for financial years ending prior to 2020 and for specific reporting periods between March and June 2020, contingent upon necessity. These provisions entered into force immediately upon publication and are scheduled to expire at the end of December 2021.
