Subject: Financial Authorization for Popular Committees in Camps
With reference to the above subject, please find attached for your information a letter from the Executive Committee member of the Palestine Liberation Organization and Director of the Refugees Affairs Department dated 2011/05/11, and a letter from the Director General of the Refugees Affairs Department dated 2011/7/3, which indicate that the Refugees Affairs Department is the sole authority authorized to approve the accounts of the Popular Committees in the camps and those authorized to sign on their behalf, as well as the amendment and dissolution of these committees in accordance with the amended internal regulations for the Popular Committees for Services in Palestinian Refugee Camps, attached herewith.
