Central Bank of Kuwait Register of Banks Bylaw
The Central Bank of Kuwait, through Ministerial Resolution No. 39, establishes the official Register of Banks and mandates comprehensive registration procedures for all domestic institutions and foreign branches. The bylaw requires banks to submit designated applications with supporting documentation to record essential particulars, including authorized capital, bonds, statutory reserves, management personnel, and branch locations. Subsequent circulars further standardize regulatory operations by ceasing physical certificate issuance in favor of website publication and mandating timely notation of subsidiaries and associates.
