Circular No. 179/2025: Salaries of Birzeit University Employees Borrowers
The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 179/2025 directing all banks operating in Palestine to apply the provisions of Instruction No. 25/2021 regarding employee financing installments to employees of Birzeit University. This directive is issued in response to a letter from the Acting President of Birzeit University concerning the financial obligations of university staff. Banks are required to implement these regulations for the specified employees in accordance with established procedures.

Subject: Salaries of Birzeit University Employees Borrowers from Banks
Based on the provisions of Instruction No. (25/2021) regarding the handling of installments for employee facilities/financing, and subsequently following the letter from Dr. Assem Khalil / Acting President of Birzeit University regarding the financial obligations of university employees (attached), all banks are requested to apply the provisions of the aforementioned instructions to the university's employees in accordance with the rules.
