Circular No. 01/CREPMF/2022 on the Annulment of Circular No. 01-2018 Regarding the Procedures for the Splitting of Common Investment Funds or Their Conversion into Capital Investment Companies
The General Secretariat of the Regional Council for Public Savings and Financial Markets (CREPMF) has issued Circular No. 01/CREPMF/2022 to abrogate the December 28, 2018 Circular No. 01-2018 governing the procedures for splitting Common Investment Funds or converting them into Capital Investment Companies. This updated regulation establishes immediate effect upon publication, streamlining the regulatory framework for accredited stakeholders in the West African Monetary Union's financial market. The revised circular maintains existing operational requirements while clarifying the procedural pathways for fund restructuring and corporate conversion.
