The Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier issues Regulation No 20-04 to define essential services for credit institutions and financial market infrastructures under the NIS Law. The regulation specifies that essential services for credit institutions include depositary functions, deposit management, credit granting, investment services, and payment services. For financial market infrastructures, the admission to trading of financial instruments on regulated markets or multilateral trading facilities is classified as an essential service.
