Regulating Law 56 of July 11, 2017
The Panamanian government, through the Ministries of Economy and Finance, Foreign Relations, and Health, published official decrees and resolutions in the Official Gazette on July 19, 2018. These regulations implement Law 56 of July 11, 2017, establish the National Council for Gender Parity, and mandate safety information updates for pharmaceutical products containing methylphenidate and dabigatran. Additionally, the publication approves five mandatory health warning pictograms for all tobacco packaging sold in Panama and orders the immediate market withdrawal of specific product batches detailed in the accompanying list.
