OJK Circular No. 33/SEOJK.03/2025 on Reporting by Islamic Commercial Banks and Islamic Business Units via the OJK Reporting System

Financial Services Authority Circular Number 33/SEOJK.03/2025 regarding Reporting by Islamic Commercial Banks and Islamic Business Units through the Financial Services Authority Reporting System

Abstract: In light of the enforcement of the Financial Services Authority Regulation regarding bank reporting through the OJK Reporting System, it is necessary to formulate implementing provisions for the aforementioned POJK that apply to Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS), Islamic Business Units (UUS), and Representative Offices of Foreign Banks located outside the country that conduct business activities based on Sharia principles (KPBLN).

The legal basis for this Financial Services Authority Circular is: POJK No. 22 of 2025.

This Financial Services Authority Circular regulates guidelines for the implementation of reporting by BUS, UUS, and KPBLN to the OJK through the OJK Reporting System, which establishes the types of reports that BUS, UUS, and KPBLN are required to submit, including periodic reports and incidental reports along with provisions regarding data position, periodicity, and submission deadlines. Provisions regarding the first-time reporting and guidelines for compiling periodic and incidental reports as contained in the appendix of this SEOJK are also regulated.

Note: This Financial Services Authority Circular takes effect on the date of establishment. This Financial Services Authority Circular was established on November 28, 2025. The preparation and submission of reports are carried out when BUS, UUS, and KPBLN have obligations, meet criteria, and/or conduct certain activities in accordance with the provisions of the Financial Services Authority.

From the time this Financial Services Authority Circular takes effect until the submission of the first report based on this SEOJK, BUS, UUS, and KPBLN continue to submit reports in accordance with the Financial Services Authority Circular Number 27/SEOJK.03/2020 regarding Reporting by Islamic Commercial Banks and Islamic Business Units Through the Financial Services Authority Reporting System. BUS, UUS, and KPBLN submit reports through APOLO in accordance with this SEOJK starting from the first data position regulated in this SEOJK.

Upon the enforcement of this Financial Services Authority Circular, the Financial Services Authority Circular Number 27/SEOJK.03/2020 regarding Reporting by Islamic Commercial Banks and Islamic Business Units Through the Financial Services Authority Reporting System is revoked and declared invalid.
