Resolution CMN No. 5310 - Amends the Annex to Resolution CMN No. 4,995 of March 24, 2022

The National Monetary Council, through Resolution CMN No. 5310 issued by the Central Bank of Brazil, amends the annex to Resolution CMN No. 4,995 to establish updated annual credit operation limits for public sector entities. The regulation specifies distinct borrowing caps for federal government operations, state and municipal operations, and specific entities such as Correios, ENBPar, and Eletronuclear for the years 2024 through 2026. These limits apply to financial institutions and other entities authorized by the Central Bank of Brazil to conduct credit operations with the public sector.

The Central Bank of Brazil, in accordance with Article 9 of Law No. 4,595 of December 31, 1964, makes public that the National Monetary Council, in a session held on June 25, 2026, considering the provisions of Article 4, caput, items VI, VIII, and X, of the aforementioned Law,

R E S O L V E S:

Art. 1º The annex to Resolution CMN No. 4,995 of March 24, 2022, published in the Official Gazette of the Union on March 28, 2022, shall be in effect with the alterations contained in the annex to this Resolution.

Art. 2º This Resolution enters into force on the date of its publication.
