The Central Bank Coins (Standard Weight and Composition) Regulations, 2017

The Minister of Finance of Trinidad and Tobago issued these regulations under the Central Bank Act to establish mandatory standards for coins issued by the Central Bank.   1. These Regulations may be cited as the Central Bank Coins (Standard Weight and Composition) Regulations, 2017.
  2. Coins issued by the Bank which are of a denomination specified in the First Column of Part I or II of the Schedule shall be of the standard weight and composition specified in relation thereto in the Second Column of that Part.
  3. The remedy or variation from the standard weight or composition of coins issued by the Bank shall not exceed the remedy allowance specified in relation thereto in the Third Column of Part I or II of the Schedule.
