Decision No. 005/2025-CSBF on the Withdrawal of Authorization for Volamahasoa S.A.
The Banking and Financial Supervision Commission (CSBF) of Madagascar has withdrawn the authorization of VOLA MAHASOA S.A. and ordered its automatic dissolution due to persistent financial difficulties, unheeded recapitalization injunctions, and clear insolvency. The decision mandates the appointment of a liquidator to manage asset and liability wind-down while prohibiting new loans, deposits, and non-ordinary expenditures until liquidation closes. Furthermore, the institution's registration on the credit institutions list will be formally cancelled upon completion of the liquidation process.
