Decision No 22/2016 of Národná banka Slovenska on the countercyclical capital buffer rate
Národná banka Slovenska issued Decision No 22/2016 to set the countercyclical capital buffer rate at 0.5% pursuant to the Banking Act. This regulation supersedes the previous buffer rate established in Decision No 20/2016. The new requirement enters into force on 1 November 2017.
Decision No 22/2016 of Národná banka Slovenska of 25 October 2016 on the setting of the countercyclical capital buffer rate Národná banka Slovenska, in accordance with Article 33g(1) and (4) of the Banking Act (No 483/2001 Coll. on banks and amending certain laws, as amended by Act No 213/2014 Coll.), has adopted this Decision: Article 1 In accordance with Article 33(g) of the Banking Act, the countercyclical capital buffer rate is set at 0.5%. Article 2 This Decision repeals Decision No 20/2016 of Národná banka Slovenska of 26 July 2016 on the setting of the countercyclical capital buffer rate.
