Bank of Israel Circular on Deferring Advanced Payment Services Directive
The Bank of Israel's Banking Supervision Department has deferred the commencement date of Proper Conduct of Banking Business Directive no. 427 regarding advanced payment services. This one-month delay from January 1, 2023, to February 1, 2023, was granted to banking corporations to address implementation difficulties arising from complex inter-bank information exchange requirements. The decision follows consultations with the Advisory Committee on Banking Business Affairs and approval by the Governor.
