Circular No. 04/EPC/2014, December 18 – Information Disclosure Form for Electronic Payment Products and Services
The Bank of Mozambique issued Circular No. 04/EPC/2014 to standardize and objectify information disclosure regarding electronic payment products and services offered by credit institutions, financial companies, and service providers. The Circular mandates these entities to submit a standardized pre-notification form detailing product specifications, target users, distribution channels, fees, risk management processes, and contact information before making services publicly available. It entered into force upon the publication of Notice No. 02/GBM/2014 on December 4, 2014, and directs interpretive queries to the Bank's Payment Systems Department.
