Regulations repealing certain regulations within Finansinspektionen’s scope (FFFS 2011:24)

Finansinspektionen issued regulations on 17 March 2011 to repeal four specific regulatory instruments effective at the end of April 2011. The repealed regulations include rules on motor vehicle competition insurance and expense calculations for provided assistance. Additionally, general guidelines concerning non-life insurance companies' reporting of loan guarantee claims and conditions for destroying accounting materials were also abolished.

Finansinspektionen prescribes pursuant to section 2 of the Motor Vehicle Competition Insurance Act (1976:357) and section 49 of the Insurance Business Ordinance (1982:790) that the following regulations shall be repealed at the end of April 2011:

  1. Finansinspektionen’s regulations (FFFS 1995:35) regarding motor vehicle competition insurance, and
  2. Finansinspektionen’s regulations (FFFS 2000:14) regarding the expense calculation for provided assistance. Finansinspektionen also decides that the following general guidelines shall be repealed at the end of April 2011:
  3. Finansinspektionen’s general guidelines (FFFS 1992:5) regarding non-life insurance companies’ reporting of claims for loan guarantees within credit insurance in the annual accounts and the annual report, and
  4. Finansinspektionen’s general guidelines (FFFS 1994:29) regarding conditions for authorisation to destroy accounting materials pursuant to section 22, third and fourth paragraphs of the Accounting Act (1976:125). MARTIN ANDERSSON Louise Conradi
