Securities and Exchange Act (No. 3) B.E. 2546 (2003)

The King of Thailand enacted this amendment to the Securities and Exchange Act B.E. 2535 to update regulatory definitions and provisions. The legislation replaces the definition of mutual fund management to include investments in derivatives and other properties. It also amends Section 126 to permit mutual funds to borrow or create encumbrances on assets only in accordance with SEC-specified rules for derivative transactions.
