Circular Letter No. 4049 - Amends the Layout and Filling Instructions for Document 3040 - Credit Risk Data of the Credit Information System (SCR)

The Head of the Department of Financial System Monitoring of the Central Bank of Brazil issued Circular Letter No. 4049 to amend the layout and filling instructions for Document 3040 (Credit Risk Data) of the Credit Information System (SCR). The new versions of the layout and instructions became effective as of the May 2020 reference date, with specific changes to the nature of operations and additional information fields. The circular entered into force on the date of its publication.

The Head of the Department of Financial System Monitoring (Desig), in the exercise of the authority conferred by Article 23, item I, letter "a", of the Internal Regulations of the Central Bank of Brazil, annexed to Ordinance No. 84,287 of February 27, 2015, based on Article 77, item III of the aforementioned Regulations, and considering the provisions of Resolutions Nos. 4,571 of May 26, 2017, and 4,795 of April 2, 2020, Circulars Nos. 3,870 of December 19, 2017, and 3,996 of April 6, 2020, and Circular Letter No. 3,869 of March 19, 2018,

RESOLVES:

Article 1. The new versions of the Layout and Filling Instructions for document 3040 - Credit Risk Data, available on the Central Bank of Brazil's website at the electronic address https://www.bcb.gov.br/estabilidadefinanceira/scrdoc3040, enter into force as of the reference date of May 2020.

Article 2. The following modifications were made:

I - in "Annex 2: Nature of the Operation" - alteration of the description of domain 34 to "Credit operations of public programs or funds";

II - in "Annex 26: Additional Information" - alteration of the description of additional information 2202 to "Identification of public program or fund".

Article 3. This Circular Letter enters into force on the date of its publication.
