Approving Regulation 7/01 “ Registration and Licensing of Crypto Assets Service Providers; Issuance of Branch and Representative Office Operation Permits for Foreign Crypto Assets Service Providers; Procedure for Obtaining Prior Consent for the Acquisition of a Qualifying Holding in the Statutory Capital of a Crypto Assets Service Provider ”

Aiming to establish the procedure for permitting the activities of crypto assets service providers, the list of required information, documents and/or deliverables, as well as the procedure and timeframes for submitting such information to the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia;
In view of Article 19 (4) and (8), Article 20 (2) and (4), Article 22 (7) and (8), Article 25 (5), Article 26 (2), Article 27 (1), (2) and (10), Article 28 (3), and Article 94 (2) of the Republic of Armenia Law “On Crypto Assets”;
Pursuant to Article 2 (3) and Article 20 (1) “e” of the Republic of Armenia Law “On the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia”,
the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia
E n a c t s:
Establish the Central Bank Regulation 7/01 “Registration and Licensing of Crypto Assets Service Providers; Issuance of Branch and Representative Office Operation Permits for Foreign Crypto Assets Service Providers; Procedure for Obtaining Prior Consent for the Acquisition of a Qualifying Holding in the Statutory Capital of a Crypto Assets Service Provider”, in accordance with Appendix to this resolution.
This resolution to enter into force on the tenth (10th) day following its official publication.
