Decision on the National Bank of Serbia Discount Rate
The Monetary Policy Committee of the National Bank of Serbia mandates that the central bank's discount rate shall equal 100 percent of the key policy rate applied in its money market operations. This directive replaces the prior 2003 discount rate decision and specifies that the rate must be expressed in percentages with two decimal places. The regulation takes effect one day after its official publication in the Republic of Serbia's Official Gazette.
"RS Official Gazette", No.104/2009, 17/2010 and 31/2010 Pursuant to Article 14, item 6, and with reference to Article 41 of the Law on the National Bank of Serbia ("RS Official Gazette", Nos. 72/2003 and 55/2004), the NBS Monetary Policy Committee hereby issues D E C I S I O N ОN THE LEVEL OF THE NATIONAL BANK OF SERBIA’S DISCOUNT RATE
- The discount rate of the National Bank of Serbia is set at 100% of the key policy rate applied by the National Bank of Serbia in money market operations. The discount rate is expressed in percentage, with two decimal places.
- This decision shall supersede the Decision on the National Bank of Serbia Discount Rate ("RS Official Gazette", No. 133/2003).
