Circular CONAU 1-1697: Monthly Accounting Regime for Foreign Exchange Operations (R.I. - O.C.) – Amendments

The Central Bank of the Argentine Republic issued Communication “A” 8333 to amend Section A of its Monthly Accounting Regime for Foreign Exchange Operations following Decree 682/2025. The circular reinstates concept codes B28 through B31 for goods export collections, advance receipts, foreign financing, and local bank financing, while mandating the “APX” identification code for codes B29 to B31 to ensure accurate tracking. Financial entities and foreign exchange operators must apply the prior specifications for these codes, with updated replacement sheets to be published in the respective Consolidated Text.

We address you to inform you of the modifications introduced in Section A of the referenced Information Regime, as stipulated by Decree 682/2025. In this regard, the concept codes detailed below are reinstated: • B28 “Collections from goods exports for operations included in Article 2 of Decree 38/2025 or Decree 682/2025” • B29 “Advance collections from goods exports for operations included in Article 2 of Decree 38/2025 or Decree 682/2025” • B30 “Foreign financing for goods exports for operations included in Article 2 of Decree 38/2025 or Decree 682/2025” • B31 “Financing by local banks for goods exports with funding from foreign credit lines for operations included in Article 2 of Decree 38/2025 or Decree 682/2025” In this respect, it is noted that for operations processed using concept codes B29, B30, and B31, the identification code “APX” must be recorded for subsequent tracking. The same specifications applied during the previous validity period of the aforementioned concept codes will be used.
