The Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (Hanfa) issued this Instruction to standardize the substantive completion and electronic submission of web forms for UCITS, AIF, OMF, and DMF funds. It mandates management companies to accurately populate mandatory fields—including fund identifiers, registration dates, and entity details—and attach supporting documentation in PDF or Excel format via the designated online portal. Effective 1 January 2023, this directive replaces the prior 2017 guidelines and establishes precise signing requirements, XML submission protocols, and field-specific validation rules for all status changes, auditor appointments, depositary updates, and liquidator registrations.
INSTRUCTION FOR FILLING OUT WEB FORMS FOR FUNDS: UCITS, AIF, OMF AND DMF
Funds: UCITS, AIF, OMF and DMF - Submission of Electronic Documents For funds, this form type is used to submit documentation that is not standardized through the above three types of forms.
Forms for Funds: UCITS, AIF, OMF and DMF Management companies for UCITS, AIF, OMF and DMF funds submit documentation to Hanfa in the manner prescribed by this Instruction, in accordance with their obligations arising from the Open-ended Investment Funds Act, the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Act, the Mandatory Pension Funds Act, the Voluntary Pension Funds Act and secondary legislation (e.g., primarily referring to regular reports and ad hoc reports requested by Hanfa according to the relevant regulation). For each type of web form, the following fields must be completed, as shown in the table and figure.
