The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission has adopted the European Banking Authority's guidelines on the minimum content of governance arrangements for issuers of asset-referenced tokens. These guidelines specify requirements for management body responsibilities, risk management functions, and business continuity policies to ensure sound operations and investor protection under the MiCA Regulation. The adopted guidelines become applicable to issuers on 20 December 2024.
