Discontinuation of Hard Copies of STRs Submitted to FMU
The Financial Monitoring Unit (FMU) has officially transitioned all reporting of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) to the automated goAML system effective January 1, 2020. Consequently, all physical hard copy submissions of STRs, including those utilizing the legacy format from May 14, 2015, are now strictly discontinued. Reporting entities are required to adhere to the attached additional guidelines to ensure mandatory compliance with electronic reporting standards through the goAML platform.
