Update of CMA Fees and Commissions and Cancellation of Announcement No. 95 (23 May 2023)
The Capital Markets Authority of Lebanon issued Announcement No. 97 to cancel and replace the May 23, 2023 fee schedule with updated commissions and collection procedures for financial institutions. The announcement establishes a standardized 31-item fee table covering licensing, registration, capital adjustments, and penalties for banks, financial institutions, brokerage firms, and other licensed entities. It mandates prepayment via the BDL-RTGS system using specific SWIFT MT202 message fields and requires attached bank transfer confirmations for all submitted applications.
