Lending-2021- Circular No. 46: Addressing and Postal Coding in Palestine

The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 46 to mandate all specialized lending institutions operating in Palestine to immediately adopt and implement the national postal coding system. The circular instructs these institutions to begin using their assigned postal codes in all internal and external postal and logistical correspondence, and to require all affiliated banks, entities, and companies to do the same across all official documents and communications. The directive references the Ministry of Telecom & Information Technology's official letter detailing the rollout mechanism and provides a dedicated website and technical contact for institutions to retrieve their specific postal codes.
